Current Mission and Ministries of Simple Communities:

• Beds.  There is a great need for beds in every community.  People move and beds rarely travel with them.  Beds are expensive.  We have arranged a special wholesale price from a local mattress company.  Currently, we network with Beaverton Love INC to receive a list of names of those in need.  Bed delivery is usually once a month.
• Good Neighbor Center.  We adopt rooms at a local transitional shelter for homeless families.  When one family moves out of a room, we clean, paint, repair, shampoo carpets and spruce up for the next family.  We typically do a make over to one or two rooms monthly.
• Food Pantry.  Several members of Simple Communities volunteer for local food pantries on a weekly basis.
• Transportation.  Several members of Simple Communities volunteer to transport people to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, or other needs.
